I'm guessing it'll be released the first weekend of Sept. That's labor day weekend and everyone in the U.S. will be parting and BBQing, i.e. playing music from Spotify at their parties. It's the perfect moment for her to get a lot of people to listen to it.

I disagree. You have to keep in mind that a lot of people are heading back to school the day after Labor Day and they are focused on those two events. Now until the 6th of Sept wouldn't be the best time to get someone's attention. The 9th is the best date because by then, people will be back to their normal schedules & will be watching late night + early morning shows. People will also be driving to work/school everyday which is the perfect time to listen to the radio. The 9th will also the best date because the AHS premiere will be on the 14th & that would be a great way to get some last minute first week sales in.
