what's up with this nickname? i know it's mocking her hispanic ancestry but she looks lily-white. i don't see the joke in this since she doesn't actually look hispanic
It's like how Leoneigh doesn't look like a horse but we say it anyways
[Katy] It's no big deal, it's no big deal, it's no big deal, this is no big DEAL![/Katy]
If Apple Music doesn't happen, what will Taylor do when she's forced to put her music on Spotify in a few years when songs are selling 30K?
"Even though my song is #48, I refuse to put it on Spotify. Why? A hit has no value if it is available to a service the entire public uses for a simple cost."
The current top selling albums artist in the industry will be forced to do absolutely nothing when Apple Music demolishes Spotifat.
Apple Music is cute, but yeah, Spotify isn't a buggy mess. Spotify doesn't lie and say it's $10 and charges you $12.99. Spotify has all my last.fm tags already. Spotify has charts so you can see how songs are doing on Streaming.

AM charged me $10! Sorry I don't suck!
The streaming charts thing is only for us pop geeks anyway, as much as I do wish AM had them.
I love having everything in one place on Apple Music but Spotify IS better. I've experienced glitches in the last week or two.
Apple Music isn't gonna win this one. They were late to the game and didn't come with anything that would help them topple Spotify. Even with this free trial and a huge roll out, the numbers aren't even remotely close to what Spotify is doing. The #1 song on AM is probably doing what, 1-2 million a week compared to the 7-8 million on Spotify. And the number of users is gonna tank once the free trial ends in 10 days.
It isn't hard for Apple Music to generate profit. They just have to have the right exclusives.. which, so far, only really seems to have been Taylor Swift. They need to take more chances.

Basically. Why do we agree on everything
I mean Apple Music will have some longevity unlike TIDAL instead of completely going downward since it's incorporated into every Apple product, and it'll basically be forced to last once iTunes dies in sales completely but it'll continue to always have substantially less popularity. Spotify is iTunes now, and iTunes is about to be Amazon MP3 basically.
The only thing threatening Spotify's position is when it inevitably has to remove the freemium. But even then, I'd think lots of Spotify's userbase will stick to them actually. And especially people would rather just pay $10 and keep their years of playlists, then to pay $10 to Apple and start all over.
The only thing I dislike about Apple Music is that their playlists suck. Can someone tell me how to search for user made playlists? That was one feature Spotify excelled at.
If I download Taylor's discography from Apple Music, will it stay once I stop paying for the service?
No. However I did download Purple Rain before Prince yanked it off AM, and it's still accessible in my library. With how glitchy the service is you never know.
