Considering my views on this challenge, there were only two major aspects I ranked upon:
1. How directly the song fit the theme based on the challenge's clarification. It's way to easy to pick a boasting song where there's no direct hits, implications, and assertions of status over anyone peculiar. Ya'll ain't getting off that easy. Drags/Receipts > Shade in this instance.
2. How well your defense backs it up and entry is presented.

Your defense is heavily valued, but if your track is so directly self-explanatory to the theme (hihi posh), then that becomes priority in inclusion. As a result of my simple yet striking guideline, the scoring you received was either hit or miss. No middle ground scores, because well, that's how I wanted to create a balanced scale.

Alejandro x 1 trillion takes that cake on the most times a name is being said. With that said, yes the song fits the theme of this challenge; however, it is annoying as ****. If you’re going to make a song saying I’m better than you, you need more to it than just name dropping your stage name with the things you can do. Also, I didn’t read your entry. It looks like a year 2000-I-just-learned-how-to-make-glitter-art mess, I’m sorry. It just made things so unappealing aesthetically that I just couldn’t read it. Bright side? The entry matched the song; a mess.

Gaga's most obvious choice of the very few songs that could have fit this theme since she's not really the ratchet jungle type of singer that would be constantly bragging about her success. I mean she does it in interviews and whatnot, but not really in songs. Down to earth, grateful humble queen of Pop.

Rihanna truly has quite a few songs that talk/brag about herself being the best. For a lot of people it could be seen as conceited and narcissistic, but with Rihanna she’s always had this attitude acting like she is the best and brings it with her attitude. This song just shows it all once again. I agree with what you said that even though this may be a predictable choice for your entry considering the song was just released, but in reality it delievers a great flow and demands that she is the HBIC. Especially considering she is now more in control over career than ever.

That damn Big Sexy Hair hairspray promo at the end that totally ruins the beginning of the video; hate it. Honestly, this use to be my jam back when it was released.
