The creators of "LOST" made "The Leftovers," so expect to be confused for a while. But "The Leftovers" is drawing a lot of themes from The Bible and religion, in general. The 144 million that have disappeared alludes to the 144,000 in scripture that will "rule with God." And we pick up on "The Leftovers" three years after two percent of the world's population has vanished (in scripture, it's about three to three-and-half-years later when s*** starts to really hit the fan). I wonder where "The Leftovers" is going; it's definitely... interesting. And their using religious themes more creatively than "Under The Dome," at least.
