Same here I think I discovered lana in September or October of 2011. And it was organically and she's probably the last new artist that really clicked with me

LOL at everyone being dense as ****. Lana was not popular in the United States on a mainstream level before the SS remix. And I'm a fan, so it's not intended to be an an insult. The fact that she was able to go platinum is amazing, but it doesn't indicate popularity.
