Oh I know Rih's not a "dancer" but that doesn't mean she can't dance. Rih did use to try to dance and partly due to her old choreographer. Her old teacher was from Canada where they're very big on West Indian music, if you notice most of the moves Rih used to do involved more hip movement.
You watch videos of Rih hanging w friends or in the club and she's moves her waist perfectly fine.
Hit-hat is more of a Britney esque style where she does 8 count steps. Rih doesn't do well with that, so thats why it comes off lazy thats all.
- But I agree as Rih music progresses she doesn't even need choreography as much.
