I haven't listened to it in full. I tried listening to it when I was in an Uber coming home once, got halfway through the first song, and switched to something else.
Made me realise I really don't care about Kanye.
This happened to me too I couldn't get through more than like three songs. Yeezus pulled me in way more.
Yeezus is definitely the album of his I've enjoyed the most. I never really got what was so great about MBDTF, although it's... Nice, I guess.
MBDTF is very good. It has elements of all the albums that came before it and it's very polished and thoughtful. What turns me off about TLOP from the few songs I heard is that it feels somewhat cobbled and rushed a la AUNTie, but the "trying to look like I don't care" aesthetic doesn't work for him. I only gravitate to him when he's ambitious and proud of his work. We have Kenny for that now.
