X and Y and Sun and Moon are both on the 3DS. But what a lot of y'all claim is that XY and Gen 6 in general seemed to just be a demo for Gen 7. And look at the graphical advancement despite being on the same console. I don't see how this is different to handhelds? The problem wasn't it being handheld, because the graphics did change and did get better on the same console.
I know many of y'all had other problems with XY, but there were people that complained about the graphics and the other technical things that seem to be fixed in SM. And what I'm saying is, if DP is the first game, then the odds are it'll be similar. Particularly if they're wanting to release it next year; like there'll be no time for them to learn how to work with the Switch. Does this not make sense?

I really don't mind which console they release it on. I'll happily buy a Switch for Pokemon whenever it comes out coz I'll have to eventually anyway. I don't care about perfect graphics as long as I can like them; and I thought XY were fine - even if Gen 7 is leaps and bounds ahead. |
People (including me) will complain no matter what.
The thing is, it's reasonable for them to jump on the next console for the remakes, and the DS to 3DS wasn't even that big of a jump as the GBA to DS, for example. It's also reasonable for the first few games for a console not to be the most amazing examples for the console's overall graphic power.
Basically it comes down to Switch >>>>>>>>> 3DS no matter the outcome.
Personally, I think they should leave the remakes for the next Gen, so they could do new Gen + remakes on the Switch together, but that's thinking way too far ahead anyway. But it's something they've already done before with Gen 5 and 4 on the same handheld. I'd also be more than fine for this Gen be kinda short lived tbh.
That look like the type of product you have to read the instruction manual to and the user agreements.
