My review.
So I always viewed Selena as some random Disney chick that could not sing for her life and would always be a disney star but the album actually appears to have hit potential.
The first song Birthday is very mediocre and it doesn't work like Come and Get it. The song comes off as try-hard and ingenuine.
B.E.A.T. for some reason sound extremely similar to "Like a G6" while the Rihanna inspiration (not sure if it was on purpose or just cause it has a girl who always writes for her and guys who always produce for her) in Come & get it is obvious, but without ruining the song. However "Like a Champion" is literally a Rita Ora style Rih wannabe track.

Selena what is this catchy but embarrassing mess.
Stars Dance is kind of catchy in a weird way and I like it. Love will remember is a really good song but the way she kept repeating that one line in the dance break 83248998324389723984723849 times almost ruined it. Undercover is a good enough song and Save the day definitely should be her next single after Slow down, which is a grower. I just listened to the album 5 seconds ago and already forget what Write your name and Forget forever sound like but I'm sure they were good.
Overall this is a good Dance album and a good debut album. It's very dance heavy but you barely notice the way the songs all sound different. I'd give it a 7/10, it's a pretty good album! It even does a lot for her vocal range and voice, which are pretty average (no shade) and limited. Also I hope it doesn't sound like I just came here to drag her and every song because that wasn't my intention (reading back it looks like that was.)
Thanks for reading my review
