FINALLY Dany is starting to suffer over her terrible decisions. I can't wait to see that bitch SERVED by her dragon next season. anyway I'm scared that the next season will be underwhelming because the book it's based on is very boring...

edit: LSH does NOT deserve to be a season opener. something that epic should be a season closer because it's the best way to hype the watchers for the next season.

The dragons were crying and yelling out to her, and she was bawling.

YASSSSSS that was amazing. A little disappointed there was no LSH reveal but everything else was amazing. Arya is fast becoming one of my favourite characters of all-time, her character development and storyline is genuinely incredible.

Dany's fall from grace next season is gonna be hard to watch, but I have no doubt that she'll come out of it a better leader/more fit to rule a kingdom because of it.

Also, I think I remember reading that Jon won't be a great leader himself at the wall so I can't wait for that.

Also, next season is when the show will start going beyond the books so I can't wait for the book readers losing materials to spoil.

Can anyone tell me if they've already done the bulk of AFFC events? Because I heard most of the events in ADOD and AFFC happen at the same time, so if they haven't gone over most of it already, next season should have both of the books events happening at the same time.

All in all, can't wait for next season.

That finale was incredible. One of the best episodes of the series ever. I hope things work out for Dany. She's my fave character and I legit teared up at the dragon scene. I also teared up at Jojen dying I loved Ary and hope she has more scenes with Brienne at some point. Tyrion was so merciless. I hoped that he was gonna run away with Shai but that would be too happy for GoT. It's such a long wait for S5

But to bring back Michelle Fairley, one of the greatest actresses around, to be a zombie for a little while — and just kill people? It is really sort of, what are we doing with that? How does it play into the whole story in a way that we’re really going to like? It just didn’t end up being a part of what was going to happen this season. And finally one [more] reason: In case you didn’t notice, a lot happens this season … To add that in is something they opted out of. But what’s funny is that it was never going to be in the season, yet it took off on the Internet like it was going to happen.”

We then asked Graves if there’s any chance of the Lady appearing next season. “As somebody who’s worked deep inside the show, begged to have an answer and wants more than anybody, I have no idea,” he said. “They won’t tell me. They’re very good at being secretive.”


It kinda makes sense But still I hope she'll be back at least in the next season.

Anyway the final was good, i sort of expected more cause of all the hype about this episode but it was a nice ending to this season. The dragon scene was my favourite, great way to wrap up the season for her.

The **** does he mean "why" bring her back to the show? Because your job was to adapt book 3 and she's a part of book 3? Kinda a big one?? He's making it seem like a 5 minute scene would have derailed the entire season. It sounds like they're leaning towards cutting her character out all together. Which I'm not here for.

Maybe it means that LSH is not that important for the main story? Just like how they killed Jeyne/Talisa, while people speculated that in books she was pregnant and will play an important part in the later books They can't show everything. I think that they will definitely cut Quentyn Martell out of the show and will shorten Iron Islands storyline

Disagree. I mean yes, ideally they should be staying as loyal as they can to the books and the pacing GRRM set for the storylines but ultimately they aren't obliged to include all of book 3 in this season if they feel they don't have to. I was just as disappointed as you that they ultimately chose to omit LSH but they aren't definitively saying they're not including her entirely, just that they felt they didn't need to try and force her into the back end of this particular season which I actually sorta agree with now that they've elaborated upon that a bit. In the books her introductory chapter was written as an epilogue in the third book and acted as a bridge between SoS and FoC, so really, when you think about it, the LSH stuff could still work just as well as an introduction to the next season should they choose to do that.

I'm glad they focused more on developing existing storylines in this finale rather than throwing in a totally new one. I feel like it could've just confused viewers who aren't familiar with the books.
