It never was GaGa's aim to just do "decent". Everything about her persona was about making an impact and burn people's mind from the iconic moves, to the incredible fashion (IPod glasses, meat dress, Paparazzi wheelchair & bloody performance) to evoked themes in her songs.
The only reason she is now praising #OnlineKindness is because she has become insecured and doesn't know why her artistic self-agrandizing boring statements do not make up for the lack of entertainment and iconic moves this era.
