This literally made me laugh out the loud. The way you worded it meant I imagined that you literally in anger violently flung your phone into a puddle of water.

It's because people didn't give the song a chance. They listened to it the day it came out and they didn't like it so they dragged it to hell. If they just listened to the song a couple of times and let it grown on them they would of realised its as good as any other pop song out there at the moment.
