I'm quite alright with RNR flopping. I expect it to. I just don't like the idea of them postponing the album because of it. Give us the new material and then bugger off. That's literally my only beef with the era (that and Avril's lackluster...everything <3).

I'm also fine with RNR or any artist failing actually. It's more about the quality of the music and how I feel about it for sure. It just makes it more fun hearing the music you like on the radio and such.
