Thinking about the PLU video..I feel like it really needs to be epic based on the lyrics. And seeing that pic, even though it's not real or anything, makes me mad because we're never going to get that kind of flawless video

Looks like he's still pissed at RCA

Chris Brown is from RCA. And we don't know if it was his word against RCA. It could've been a battle with her manager or even Kelly for all we know. There were only rumors floating around, but no one confirmed them.

Kelly was apparently suppose to fall from the stairs and die, which explains the funeral flower, being dressed in black, her reflection not appearing in the mirror and the haunted house. If there's a uncut version out there, I hope we'll see it someday.

And yeah, it definitely doesn't seem likely.. but it kind of seemed like he was angry with a group of people (the usage of "everyone's") which is why I think it was the label..we don't think it was him and Kelly that had it out over the video, do we? I thought I remembered seeing another tweet or something where he still praised Kelly.. I could be wrong though.

Here's a pretty in-depth comment he made about what happened with that video:

If I am to be completely honest here, I've done four Kelly videos, and it seems like I win an edit battle only every other one. When I delivered "Behind These Hazel Eyes" the video commissioner (who no longer works there) wanted to completely re-edit it, but I won that battle. He was slinging scary words like "only wanted to change structure" or only "30% of the edit." He didn't even want to do Kelly's idea in the first place, so he just didn't get it. Then he sliced up "Walk Away." I won a major battle on "Never Again" to retain my edit which was also going to be blown to bits. "Already Gone" wasn't a major re-edit or anything but I never executed the visual effects I wanted so I ended up stepping away from the post process on that one to let them do their thing. It didn't seem like my opinion needed on that one, which is how it goes sometimes. I am not always right about my edits, but I have pretty good batting average so these days I try to only work with record labels that respect that. I know I must sound like a brat, but I'm just being honest.

But really, I don't think I did my best job on the last video either way. I meant to do something completely different in the original treatment but it got altered way before I shot it. However, as a director you have to take responsibility for taking on the job in the first place - I could have fought harder for my ideas or refused to taken the job - so if you didn't like any of the videos above or anything I've done, then the blame ultimately goes to me. Not artist or the label or movie studio. I chose to sail that ship. Sometimes, I suck.

Well when making a video I think the following have a say:
Label
Manager
Artist
Director

With the usage of everyone I assume he indeed meant everyone, including the label, manager and Kelly. If Kelly agreed with him, she would fight cause we all know by now she does what she wants. Kelly doesn't really like controversy and Kahn was definitely aiming for that.

It's a shame though because Kahn is the best producer out there.

I'm pretty sure Kelly wanted the Already Gone music video differently as well. Didn't she do the falling scene and hurt her neck whilst doing it? Right, and then she had to perform MLWSWY at the MMVAs or something. I definitely think it was RCA who changed the video.
