I thought I'd try something a little different.
Katy Perry: Lead Singles - VEVO view count
I Kissed A Girl, 83,011,984 views
California Gurls: 190,196,252 views
Part Of Me: 337,437,674 views
Roar: 1,042,308,700 views
Using this data, we can find the ratio of views between one lead single and the next.
IKAG : CG, 1 : 2.29
CG : POM, 1 : 1.77
POM : R, 1 : 3.09
Averaging these out, that gives a ratio between Roar and #KP4's lead single of 1 : 2.38.
Multiplying Roar's views by 2.38 gives us a predicted view count of 2,480,694,706 views.
It'll be interesting to see how close it actually gets to this number given streaming is only getting stronger.

The bottom 3-5 really should not surprise anyone at all. The top 3 is seperated by less than .4 points  so it should be close. There will be members fuming over the top 5 results though. Why? I will reveal closer to the date.

I really hope this Christmas song becomes her 2015 #1. It kinda is her only chance.
It's kind of a long shot, but I don't see why it couldn't if the song is catchy and uplifting, is released in late November, has the H&M campaign promo, a great music video and strong airplay all around the same time.
When was the last time a Christmas song went #1 anyway?
