'Alone in The Dark' audio & Lyric video released on Charli XCX's channel

Charli XCX just posted two videos on her official channel a few hours ago, with the release of 'Alone in the Dark'. The first video was the audio of the single 'Alone in the Dark'. The audio simply shows the single cover of 'Alone in the dark' while zooming in and out.
The second video is the lyric video of the song which is a bit more developed then the audio. Charli is shown sitting in the same space as the single's cover, but she moves more. Especially her hair, she does multiple hair flips throughout the lyric video. She keeps on moving her head repetitively, which gives it a certain creepiness. While she does those moves, The lyrics appear on the screen in the usual 'Charli XCX' font, the one she used on her album cover. The videos were streamed since then a lot, the audio bringing in 4 million viewers and the lyric video 7 million viewers which is a total of 11 million views when you combine them, which will probably push the single high in the top 10 thanks to the streaming points.
"I've always wanted to do a creepy & Horror movie-esque video to promote my singles, and well... here it is! The lyric video is nicely done thanks to the help of my label!" she said on twitter after the release of the videos.

Marina shares lesbian moment with Queen Latifah
Marina appeared on the Queen Latifah show this afternoon to perform her top 20 hit "Where The Diamonds Grow" and be interviewed by Queen Latifah. The show started with Marina on stage with her backup singers behind her. They sang an acapella version of the hit and snapped, clapped, and stomped their way through it. At the end Marina recieved a standing ovation. She walked over to the chairs to be interviewed and hugged Queen Latifah before settling into her seat.
Queen Latifah: It's to have you on the show, Marina.
Marina: Thank you! It's so amazing to be here, I absolutely love your work.
QL: And we love yours, especially your hot new single "Where The Diamonds Grow". Tell us what it was like making the song.
M: It was no walk in the park, no song ever is. I've been wanting to write this song, which is about the greed everyone has in them, for a while but it was never the right time. Me and the lovely Sia had a few writing sessions and we wrote like 7 songs, and this was one of them. I got Dr. Luke, the producer of my second album, to produce the song and the rest of the EP.
QL: And when does this EP come out?
M: We're planning to release it next week and then we'll focus on the album which I'm hoping will be fabulous.
QL: Well, girl, I've just been blinded by your beauty this whole interview. I don't what the hell you've been saying but I know one thing: everyone in the audience and at home will be getting coupons to get Marina's new EP for 25% off when it releases! It's been great having you here, Marina.
M: You've been a wonderful host and friend today!
Marina and Queen Latifah get out of their chairs at the same time and when they look up their noses are touching each other. They both stare into the other's eyes for a couple seconds. Queen Latifah places her hand on Marina's cheek and Marina's moves forward and kisses Queen Latifah. They kiss for about 10 seconds. Marina pulls away, says her goodbyes and leaaves.

I know what you feel tbh you put a lot of time into it this week and so did I, your era got screwed more than mine did though because an album debuting at #2 is not cute for 30 articles of promotion devoted mostly to said album. it sucks.

Yees, sis you f**kin slayed this week, I LOVED IT. I wanted Brit to go 1, but it just way too hard at this point.
I'm bummed a bit because I really put a lot of time this week, I spent like 30+ minutes on doing album cover, then back cover 15 mins, then juicy cakes cover for like 50 mins, because it was hard to find brandy pcitures, and then that f**kin video ohmygod 2 days literally after work. And all those articles, oh well.

In all actuality, since I have his promotion list only 5/30 of his articles were dedicated to his album. The rest were dedicated to Juicy Lips, so yeah, the meltdown for doing 400,000+ with that? Like...
I know you guys predict differently, but it's a different story when you're the one who has the promotion lists and can see who actually did the stuff.

The article limit will decrease the sales ofcourse for that week, but if it works out good then I can tweak the formula to where everything counts 2x more than before or w/e so the sales can still get the way they are.

So what if we happen to release our promo before the word limit takes place ??

There's suppose to be some kinda chart like thing where the top tours got a certain amount back each, but only 2 people are doing tours so for now you get 1/2 have the points back each week.

You can write articles and such, but hold off with collabs or to be safe hold off period for a few hours.
Am going to take a break since I'm tired from all that work, then announce all the new stuff.

I was up against a massive collab so I should've realized I had no chance idk I'm in the same boat as you spending a lot of time on making the graphics like those took me a long time to make but idk if it helps in the chart, i just used most of my best promotion ideas this week and i wish i didn't because now i'm so uninspired.

But when did #2 become a BAD thing? Like am not understanding.
A Top 3 single was good regardless then, now with competition bigger than ever a Top 5 is good regardless.
And album peaks are literally NO deal in this game unlike real life. Next week you could release the #1 single and have your album shoot to #7 to #1. In past seasons it literally just mattered on your single position.
Like I have the most successful album, it debuted at #2, then spent over 5 weeks at #1.
