"Chillin With You" is a bop.
Jaime Lynn voice has matured so much, doesn't even sound like her.
If the era last till the Summer I could see "CWY" as a single.

After I listened to the stream, I have decided that I don't like any of Britney's albums in their entirety. Her singles remain fire though.

I am sure I might find one that I really enjoy later in life, but this album was just "ok" to me just like her other albums. Wish her the best with her residency and I hope she brings her good sis Nicki out every now and then.

Alien Love this song, my only complaint is that it can be a bit too repetitive. Great intro & sounds like nothing she's done before. Definitely a highlight.

Work Bitch This song is so much fun & has a superb beat. Makes you wanna dance & the lyrics are ultra quotable. Werq bixxch! One of her best songs to be honest.

Perfume Love this as well, & can hear the Sia influence in the lyrics. Speaking of lyrics, best part of this song. Greatest song lyrically, & one of the strongest choruses.

It Should Be Easy (featuring will.i.am) This song is kind of predictable & nothing new, but my biggest complaint is the vocal editing. It gets hotter after the verses stop though. It had potential but the final product doesn't live up.

Tik Tik Boom (featuring T.I.) HOTTEST ALBUM TRACK. Highlight of the album. It's so unique & fresh for anyone, let alone Britney. Ultra hot beat, & honestly... one of the best vocals on the record (with the verses). The chorus is easy to remember. The song leaves an impact on the listener. I want this as a single.

Body Ache VERY HOT (as well). Much better than It Should Be Easy. The breakdown gets lots of repeats, but Britney's parts are just as replayable, if not more replayable. I don't think this has a lot of single potential in today's markets, but definitely a nice addition to her discography of jams.

Til It's Gone This one took me by surprise. I would say this is a highlight. Generally, I would say except for track 4, the album is on a streak from tracks 1 to 8 (Passenger included). I love how it transitions from ballad to banger, & kind of blends the lines between the two. This MUST be a single, I think it could be a hit. Really great chorus.

Passenger I need to get used to the final production, but I also really enjoy this one. It's different for her, & has a really memorable chorus. Lyrically, up there with Perfume as the best track. This also must be a single.

Chillin With You (featuring Jamie Lynn Spears) This song is a huge mess. It's too sugary during the verses & the transition to the chorus is a "that escalated quickly" moment. Then it goes all #turnt chillin witchu. This is a skip.

Don't Cry This is a good song, but it's very "typical last track". I just don't think it's notable in her discography. I'm more of a fan of her uptempos than her ballads in general.

Overall, most of the club tracks are the standouts, but Perfume & Passenger are two of the best songs on the album. ISBE & CWY falter the flow.

12 min into the stream. Loved WB from the beginning, hadn't heard perfume, it's kinda meh. just started ISBE and it's ok so far too.. excited for TTB

My Review

After a few more complete listens - "Work Bitch" is definitely the most inventive, freshest and note worthy dance tracks. The midtempo's "Alien" and "Passenger" are among Britneys best.. Perfume, Tik Tik Boom, Till Its Gone (amazing but still cliche') and Body Ache (abit predictable - Chorus is amazing though) are the best tracks from the rest with the absolute worst being Chillin With You (awful). "It Should Be Easy" - although good - its still predictable (will.i.am) "Dont Cry" - which should of been swapped with "Brightest Morning Star" which is better. Haven't heard the other two deluxe tracks although they sounded pretty good on the snippets.

I kinda feel that the album is kinda unfocused and rushed.. (I wouldnt be surprised if the label got hold of it and added will.i.am and the tired Euro dance pop tracks) If Britney was thoroughly in control we would of had an album of amazing uptempos (Work Bitch) and dazzling moody midtempos (Alien and Passenger) and hot club bangers (Tik Tik Boom) and the cute ballads Brightest Morning Star and Perfume...

For me the ranking for me goes -

- Once i have the other two tracks ill be rearranging the tracks and making my own album because this as it is, isn't MINDBLOWING - and it could of been quite easily.
