The posters here who have read the books, by and large, aren't smug at all and do their best to see to it that non-book readers aren't spoiled. You should see it on other sites. People who have read the books are just naturally more prone to discussing them critically than people who are experiencing the material for the first time, which is perfectly fine. Judging by your posts, you don't seem to have any interest in thinking critically about it, which is also perfectly fine, but don't get some weird and ironic superiority complex because of it.

It really is starting to feel like the show is whitewashing Tyrion. Jaime is supposed to tell him the truth about Tysha, which didn't even happen at all, and Tyrion should be pissed as **** at his brother and ruin the last good connection to his family he has. In turn, Jaime should be weary about Cersei's tendencies with Lancel etc. This is kind of important for every Lannister in King's Landing and they left it all out. Why are the cutting so many good scenes? I swear if Arya's departure is as lame as Mhysa's ending last season...

Don't get me wrong, i don't care.
Actually i'm being phony right now because honestly i've been smuggy myself troughout all this season bragging about LSH and constantly saying which scenes went wrong compared to the books.

But i'm not really serious compared to others, ever since season 2 i know that the books are completely rewritten and i really try to enjoy the show as its own.

If i really wanted to discuss the episodes critically with books in mind, believe me i would literally destroy the show ... and it wouldn't be fun for others. Season 1 is fine, season 2 is crap, season 3 is tolerable and season 4 is a disgrace.


Yet if i scrap the books from my mind, the show actually gets better with each season, season 4 is magnificient.

Lack of LSH aside (#JUSTICE4LSH I WAS SO HYPED FOR THIS APPEARANCE BUT UGGH. I'll get over it).

I disliked how quick Tyrion's scenes at the end were. Like I wanted him to question Shae why she did what she did (I wouldn't have an issue if Shae was portrayed like she was in the books but she wasn't so I wanted an explanation). Like was that her way of getting to the higher ranks of the hierarchy? Was she just irrationally pissed at Tyrion for telling her to leave King's Landing?

Loved Cersei's scene with Tywin at the beginning. Felt so sorry for Danny's dragons. And Brienne vs The Hound was a highlight of the episode. So brutal. So good.

It should have been over Tysha, just like the book. I was waiting for "wherever *****s go"

Great episode Every scene was important and it didn't seem rushed too much. But last scene was so disappointing just like in the last season. Where the **** is LSH? I was waiting for her all episode. They really cut her out of the show?

The episode was amazing ! Although I am a bit disappointed at the ending. Like, how come Aarya always fails to reunite with others First Sansa & now Brianne. But maybe it's for the best. I mean what would Brianne do with her?

Tyrion was amazing ! Exactly what I was hoping for. And he even killed the bitch Shae ! Sleeping with his father So glad she is done ! I actually did like her in the beginning.

I wanted to see Sansa in this episode But it was a great episode regardless.

Now, as for the finale itself. That was an incredible episode. So many thoughts coming through my mind right now:

- My interest in Bran's storyline has grown tremendously with what happened in this episode, so I'm excited about what's to come. "You will never walk again, but you will fly."

- Also, I'm strangely looking forward to see more stuff in the North. Winter is (finally) coming. And I gotta say, the initial scenes were badass.

- Speaking of badass, I need Daenerys to become one again. Her storyline has been lacking, but damn if the scene with her dragons didn't get to me. I might be forgetting something, but I wonder where the third dragon is.

- Poor Hound... But I cannot at Arya just leaving him to die while he was begging her to kill him. She's just awesome.

- I didn't expect Tywin Lannister to die this soon and I was expecting it to be in a bigger way, but it did feel good to see Tyrion getting away. And hell yeah if Shae didn't get what she deserved.

What a great finale and season. I'm glad I finally got into the show this year or I would have been missing what is probably one of the best TV shows of all time.

And Davos was so annoying when he was lecturing Jon. But I guess he doesn't know better
Bran suggesting that Jojen died so that he could walk again

And will winter actually 'come' soon? Like to the whole realm and not just the north?
