Wow... ATRL has no clue about Country music. Scotty is LEGIT and the most marketable AI winner since Carrie Underwood. Flop? Seriously? Country sells more albums in the US than any other popular genre, and Scotty will definitely sell millions. Don't underestimate the power of southern conservatives. Just because it's not to the preference of some narrow-minded pop fans doesn't mean it sucks.
Scotty is talented but he's not hot/charismatic enough to compete with the Brad Paisleys and the Keith Urbans of the world. Lauren has way more potential.

His single sucks. I don't understand; if American Idol wants huge stars, why can't they hire a top-notch producer to make their first single? I bet Max Martin and Dr. Luke could create a killer country-pop song, even if it isn't there specialty. Or maybe Mutt Lange? "Love You This Big" is a snoozer.
That's the only thing I love about Scotty winning the competition.

The only reason I tuned into this season of "American Idol" was to check out Jennifer Lopez.
I still like Jennifer Lopez, but I've had my fill of "American Idol." (And I didn't appreciate the
constant shade Jen would throw at Haley the entire season.) "AI" is over; we saw Jenny Lo.
