This is my first post in a Beyonce thread.
While I'm not a big Beyonce Fan, I think she's a great artist. While I like very few songs from all of her albums, I can appreciate that her music is crafted to appeal to someone other than myself. And while I don't really like
4, I respect Beyonce for her artistic vision. She really created a cohesive album that was very tender hearted, and something for her to be proud of. The entire work is quite different from mainstream radio at the moment, being supported by mostly low-midtempo ballads. I think 1+1 and Best thing I Never Had are the best on the album, I Miss You, I Care, and Run The World (Girls) being the honorable mentions. She also makes changes with each album while maintaining a distinct sound that is her brand, Beyonce.
I just wanted to say that in the light of the leak and a lot of superfluous and unnecessary posts that have been floating around.
The Sasha Fierce side is my ****.
Its not even that they sound like Dion songs, its just that I was never into soft vocals over acoustic guitar beats, as beautiful as they may be. It took me a long time to really get into the I Am side.
