I get what he's trying to say, but his whole attitude is just so self important that it just feels like he thinks he's the **** for talking about this stuff.
He goes after easy targets like Iggy and Miley (I don't like either, but they're no different from this guy) and he throws them under the bus, he apologizes for winning Grammys and shows his apology to the world, but he still accepts them and takes them, and he makes a song like he just did and takes a whole verse to talk about his past hits but doesn't reference any of the other rap albums or artists that have talked about this stuff.
You just know that people are gonna be saying "he's so brave for talking about this, and creating this discussion," when this has been a major issue for a long time.
