Anyway, it has potential, but the format is confusing, irritating, and kinda unnecessary.
At least the ending restored hope that it's not a total anthology!
And I'm also mildly irritated that there wasn't as much substance in this episodes as we've had in our other premiers; in the others, we MEET the people, we KNOW who they are, we SEE what the upcoming issues are (at least to an extent), and most of all, it's thrilling.
This had the creepiness and the eeriness and the unsettling things (to an extent) that AHS needs, but it kind of feels really empty. But hopefully that's just because they're going to expand on it further on. The fact that there's only 10 episodes but they drew this episode out with a bit of BS is a tad unnerving, tho.
I get people not liking this format especially ATRL but shows like this aka Cold Case, 60 Minutes, Snapped are really popular and add in this horror concept, it definitely adds more suspense and you actually care about the characters more so than before. '
Boohoo, you "know" the characters who survive. But just like y'all were saying its going to be an anthology with the ending showing you that it most likely won't be...just wait.
wait i definitely think i missed something towards the end (i was busy eating my dinner lol)... what was it that suggested/hinted that this WON' T be an anthology series? sorry to be a pain lol
The setting and cinematography SLAYED me, and this was the first time the show was actually scary. The episode would have been amazing if it weren't for the stupid af interview scenes.
I was really expecting Charles Manson since the interviewees were different than the actors (thinking they killed them and assumed their lives a la The Family). Looks like the maincast pulls a Roanoke.
