It has been disturbing watching Evangelical White Christians double down on Trump while the rest have ran for the hills. Trump's comments on Roe v Wade energized them while it disturbed and terrified the rest of the country. It speaks volumes of their character and true intentions.

I'm personally not friends with those crazies but while we were watching the debate, my mom was flipping out about how 70% of her friends on Facebook from the churches she has attended her entire life were applauding his sickening rhetoric. She had a serious introspective moment. How horrifying it must be to realize that the most Godly and pious you've spent your life befriending are willing to show their true colors so easily.

This really isn't a silly social issue like you suggest. As numbers of transgendered people continue to grow as they become more comfortable to come out, this will continue to be an issue and just ignoring it won't make it go away.
