I think marriage equality is settled, but Trump certainly would not have been a champion for LGBT rights if he ever managed to get elected. We're not done on the LGBT rights front. There's a difference between having an ambivalent President who won't give a damn about those issues and a President that will actively push an agenda of acceptance and equality forward.
Abortion will continue to be a contentious wedge issue. It's deeply entrenched in some folks religious worldview.

Donald Trump from NYC is obviously not a freaking full blown Republican I firmly believe he says a lot of what he says in order to appeal to the majority of the country which is white people. He would be a much better, more peaceful (not war mongering), and more reliable leader than Hillary. We need someone who will not bring us into another war or make the relations with other countries worse.

Its kind of crazy Betsy is 70 years old. Also, they need to stop putting Betsy on with Sally Kohn. They are both equally intolerable and I would like Betsy to be clocked by someone that doesn't get exasperated with her every breath. Sally always acts like a child.
Some people did raise a good point... the morning after pill should be taken if a woman is raped. which i guess is one of my main arguments for abortion to begin with. but it doesn't matter. the choice should be there.
I think the discussion at last night's debate really got to people regarding abortion. People really believe Trump when he said "they rip the baby".

I think Republicans will have a hard time winning another election unless they become more liberal in their views on abortion and gay rights. Younger people are more likely to be pro-choice and support gay marriage. As the country becomes more diverse and the older generation dies, those old, super religious, white supremacist ways of thinking will die along with it.

And take class or read a book. The Clintons had a fairly peaceful foreign policy. And Hillary/Obama restored diplomatic relations around the world after Bush ****ed us up.
