I don't know the answer for sure, but I would think that it would count as long as you keep the tab open. I can't imagine YouTube's view tracking software is so complex that it can pick up on what exact tab somebody is currently looking at. Plus even if it could, tons of people use YouTube as their main source of listening to music, so I imagine people put videos in other tabs all the time and therefore YouTube must count that.

Yeah the only thing we've been told is that there's no point in playing it in multiple tabs at once because it locks down your IP or something while you're viewing so it won't count if you play it in multiple tabs. And of course refresh not replay.

Ugh, it still hasn't gotten a single green update since it was removed from Hot Tracks. I know I said sales aren't really a priority right now (and I still maintain that), but at least something that suggests some sort of stabilization would be nice

You should care. Streaming is currently the biggest component on the Hot 100, and sales is the smallest. So if we want Work From Home to do well on the Hot 100, it doing well on Spotify is more important than it doing well on iTunes.
