YES @ Piano's being base game supported. I hated in The Sims 3 you only had guitars up until Late Night. I love teaching my sims instruments.

looks too much like Sims 3 :-/ and Sims 3 ended up being a nightmare, lets hope this one works

So I'm getting a new computer for college, and I know they haven't released the requirements yet, but I wonder if this laptop would be powerful enough to play the game?

Not sure, but it seems like it can't run Battlefield 4. I know TS4 is not going to have the same requirements, but I would wait. I wouldn't be surprised if the specs are announced at or around E3.
