If TFM was a proper second album, she would've milked TF more (Boys Boys Boys, Starstruck) and TFM would gotten the 6 singles it deserved. At least her peak would've lasted much longer and we would've gotten way more professionally directed videos with stunning looks before it all went downhill and she wanted to become a director

Exactly. What Katy did then is what Gaga should have done. Gaga was way too quick to reinvent when she was on top. The Fame and TFM could have each had at least five singles.

This all in hindsight though, at the time I guess it seemed like a good idea to re-release the album to boost the sales. Nobody knew she was gonna alienate everybody with the subsequent eras and stop hiring directors
