I'm a taylor stan myself and i love the single. Taylor can't always be the same and keep bringing tracks like 'Enchanted' etc. She needs to evolve and make music that does well successfully. Its a business. To the Record companies, the biggest priority is profit. And her pop-esque songs perform the best in terms of sales.
Her album won't be full of pop songs. Taylor delivers album after album and she's known for her versatility and variety. Theres 16 tracks on the album.

If she plays her cards right from this point WANEGBT could be the best decision career. It will give her a huge global smash and gain back radio support and pop appeal. I'm assuming she'll release a few promo singles like she did for SN so if she makes sure their more serious and meaningful she should be ok and then the 2nd single should also follow suit.

its the most catchy song i have heard in quite a while and for a pop song, its great!
