FFXIII was an absolute travesty. I'd rather them still be using FFVII graphics if it meant more inspired gameplay, exploration, and story-telling.
No shade but Final Fantasy XV (nee Versus XIII) is becoming such a disaster that I am so close to giving up on my original faves. I still have an inkling of faith with Nomura, but the director of their new Luminous Tools quit last week before it was even finished and we haven't heard from the game in, like, a year. All we have gotten the past near decade is.. "Final Fantasy (Versus XIII) XV is progressing smoothly. *laughs*."

I used to go no life on that game.
