The caucus system is the only thing keeping Bernie's candidacy alive. If it were strictly by popular vote, or if it were primaries and the primaries' delegates were determined by turnout rather than population, he would be losing by a much larger margin.
He could literally win the pledged delegate count now - he could, but won't - and still have less popular votes than Hillary, thanks to the caucus system. I agree that it either needs to be tossed, or adjusted to accommodate reasonable modern schedules.

People are getting involved and engaging one another in dialog about the future of their city, county/parish, state, and country. It's just that the whole system is dated and doesn't truly get an account of everyone in the state.
