Nope! What happened is, Scream & Shout was added to power rotation in more cities. About two weeks ago, only one or two stations was spinning it 110+ times a week, now, that figure has gone up tremendously. Especially, in big markets like Houston and Chicago. Wasn't it already on power rotation in NY, LA and Chicago? I thought only the big citites mattered when it comes to spins gains like that.

i see radio programmers are increasing Britney's spins on Scream & Shout now that Feel This Moment is gaining. so transparent and predictable.

in terms of impact Britney just hasn't done anything noteworthy in years. the point and problem is that radio programmers play Britney tracks like they're obligatory- partly out of sympathy and partly out of this false perception that the public is just wild for her. so they give her all this AI and the perception is that she's bigger than she actually is.

Britney's success is really really overexaggerated, she's probably right next to Christina as far as which female pop star has been the least successful in the last 5 years. Many just think otherwise because of Radio's biased towards her, but Britney had become nothing in worldwide territories.

Hello, Britney's last successful worldwide hit was probably... TOXIC? Gimme More? Well... probably Womanizer!

credit goes to the radio programmers for Britney success.

But damn, Will I AM had the most successful song of the 2000's with I Gotta Feeling... something none of the pop girls have been able to achieve... not even during their prime.

I listened to ...Baby One More Time yesterday again and it kinda grew on me. I thought all the songs were pretty good except Soda Pop. Even From the Bottom of My Broken Heart (which I thought was too long, but now am more used to listening to it) and I Will Be There should of been a single because it could of done really well. Better than Sometimes (good song, but a bit overrated by some fans). In general, it's a good album. I actually never listened to E-Mail My Heart because I found the name cringeworthy so I skipped it. Didn't know it was a ballad. And a GOOD one too! In general, it's a pretty solid debut. Most artists' (just like Britney) progress musically more into their fourth or fifth album so....
