I was gonna rank WA at #5 (mainly because I couldn't remember much of it) but I just watched it again and it really is quite amazing. The visual effects are fantastic. It really is her more sophisticated videos, yet it's still playful and beautiful.
1. California Gurls
2. Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)
3. Wide Awake
4. The One That Got Away
5. E.T.
6. Firework
7. Part of Me
8. Teenage Dream
I just re-watched "Teenage Dream" and it's definitely the "worst" from the era. So much injustice for the song, like nothing happens at all? A "Run Away With Me" tea. It seems almost OOTB-ish compared to the rest of the videos, such a step down from California Gods.
the video is beautiful and SHE looks beautiful and natural in it
She looks basic and the extras are all fat and ugly, and not in a Firework "you're a superstar!" kind of way. It just looks like any generic romance themed video from the late-2000's/early-2010's.
Let's not hope that. A single wouldn't be enough, Christmas covers albums are almost always more successful than the singles released from them. It would be a good sales point for her and would be a great catalog seller.

It's still a 7/10 at worst, though.
Gurl bye !!
This guy is the hottest male that's ever been in a video of a major pop girl.
Do you guys think 15 days to send me your Video rates (I think we'll keep them just the official videos.) Then 1 week to collate them and then reveal on the 31st of August? Is it too far away? Too short?
I'm hoping for a Loud-esque era (in terms of success) from Katy where the House influenced album is released in early Q2 then goes on to 2xP (in sales) in US and 4M+ across the world. I think she has a global enough reach to do that plus house+Europe (weakest market), it's sort of realistic?
