Why was "Bad Things" discounted? Stupidest discount of the year so far
It's too early and not the right time at all, these labels don't know how to discount properly anymore.
It was doing SO good on it's own, in the last two weeks it surged to 50+ positions thanks to airplay alone, with a total of just 25 million AI, it was sitting at #24. There's a live performance + video coming next week, the top 10 was secured.
Now the GP is going to get accustomed to the discount during it's hype peak in the next following weeks, and it's gonna hurt the song in the long run. + honestly cheapening the song so early is outright downplaying the feedback the song had so far.
Million Reasons is bombing. Adele killed her with Water Under the bridge. There is not a hit song on Joanne though. It was probably the best flop to release though.
These "Water Under the Bridge killed Million reasons", "Love on the Brain killed Million Reasons" comments I see here and there are honestly so cringe worthy to me.

Side To Side was discounted after the VMAs, then it was removed, then discounted again then removed and it didn't hurt its run.
