The sad thing is that none of the songs really sound like a single on first listen (except Best...), but that has nothing to do with the quality of the songs, just what could appeal to the mass market. I now understand why a lot of pop fans can't get in, they need every song to sound like it can be bought off iChunes separately, but this is a really cohesive effort that works great as a full alberm. She really worked hard on creating a masterpiece, she wasn't desperate for a hook or melody, an oh oh oh oh or whatever else tired excuses can be thrown out. I love that she played with structure & experimented more than she usually does, this alberm is totally from her own mind. I already can't wait for alberm 5 cuz I know she'll only become more artistic and creative- the King doesn't go backwards.

Wow this album is amazing. Really different from what I was expecting from B. Still can't stop playing 1+1! That song along with Start Over, End of Time, Run The World (Girls) & I Miss You are my favorites. I Miss You gives me Disappear teas. I love it!

She definitley came up with an album to please more the critics than the public, and that is not a BAD thing. In fact I applaud her for doing it. She is already in THAT place and I think the stans should happy for that

I don't think this album will have big numbers, it might go platinum in the US and 3x platinum WW, I honestly don't see it doing more.

So the songs.

1+1: 6/10 cute but boooring
I care: 9/10 much better than 1+1. It hypnotyzes me
Miss You 10/10 AMAZING
Best Thing I Never Had 8/10 Cute, but I kind of *****d it a lot the 1st days
Party 8/10 nice mid-tempo I think It will grow more on me

I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last we hear of her for 3-5 years, tbh. There's really not much more for her to prove after these past two releases, she slayed with some of her biggest radio hits ever on IASF and with 4 she produces the best album of her career.

And if we are right, I am more than OK with her taking a hiatus on this note.
