I enjoyed it, but I don't feel they set up any mystery or really achieved any suspense. It was more character driven drama, which is fine but not what I expected.
Twisty is freaky, but he's a bit one dimensional and I don't really care (yet). He's just on the sidelines. Presumably he's a disgruntled ex-Carny who's going to continue killing everybody? They didn't tease anything intriguing about him, and I don't feel there's any ambiguity of who he is (in a twist "oh it was ____ all along" reveal) considering 99% of the characters being all shapes and sizes, wouldn't fit his build.
Curious as to where they're going to take it, because as of now the only obvious arc is Elsa making the show a success...and that's not really intriguing.
This is exactly howi feel. It's not like Coven which i got hooked since the very first ep because we don't know who the killer is.
I think the reason they don't look real to you is because you have seen Sarah many times before the CGI. I felt the same way until I started getting into her new character.
Nah. There's more than a few moments, specifically when they're both facing the camera, that the CGI is blatant and amateurish. Not much they can do about it though.

I love that Jessica isn't playing a villain for once.
What? She's blackmailing a girl with what is practically a rape video.

I agree. I was hugely actually disappointed with this. Coven started off much better, imo.
So Coven gets dragged for having too much going on now y'all are complaining about Freak Show having too little. The first 2-3 episodes are introductions & set up, then the plot kicks off.
The next season needs to be called 'Royals'. There's SO much potential with that theme. It can be set in a massive grand palace in the middle of nowhere involving poisoned dresses, drugs hidden in jewels, executions and a secret torture dungeon/prison. It can be inspired by Game of Thrones, there are a few different families subtly working against eachother in order to rule

Do not set Ryan up for a Lorde cover, sis. Also, it wouldn't happen because America has never had a political party based around royalty.
