Watch them ask for an extension.
But I think Katie said her comments for this challenge were the same for when she was trolling. ![Katie](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/e7c8e635.gif) Idk about boyonce.

I just submitted with 6 minutes left to spare. If that's what last minute work is like then I'm glad I never did that in college.
Just in case Matty waits to update:
1. Easy to work through and nicely formatted. Perfect.
2. Great work.
3. Relied too much on one area, but nicely done.
4. Great idea, poor execution.
5. Nope.

-Banners: It was thoughtful, strategic placed and effective.
-You advertised the SHIT out of ATRL. From your description of what ATRL is to what ATRL can offer you, finishing off why ATRL is so exclusively special, I would have definitely been curious/interested to check out ATRL if I had the slightest interest in music. This was such a well crafted ad that it basically reminded me of all the college brochures that compete for your enrollment.
Cons:
-I wish ATRL was hyperlinked to the actual site in that red color. That would have facilitated the advertisement even further.
-The first banner with Rihanna has additional text on it. I didn't like it cuz I felt it took away from the clean-cut consistency of having just the main fonted word/phrase.
-The spacing of the entry was very compact. It kind of seemed overwhelming at first, even though it was a quick read once you've started. I felt that some extra leeway was needed to look more spatially alluring to read.

Well, I applaud you for not going the obvious route and making a video like many of your friends here did. The writeup is satisfactory. Well done on that. However, the general format and presentation kind of reminds me of those websites—you know, the ones that you find by googling something you really want to know about, you click it and see a bunch of text and testimonials, and you keep scrolling down for what feels like forever and at the end there's a paypal link to buy something. All this entry is missing is that paypal link at the end. But I digress. While I like the choice of using the pop girls in the banners, I do think that the banners were far too long height-wise. I also count three different fonts—a serif font (Georgia), a monospaced font (looks like Bell Gothic), and a script font (looks like Brush Script)—in your presentation that just don't go together. All in all, this was a good effort and I see what you were trying to accomplish!

Kind of pointless to link ‘Blogs’ though since viewers won’t be able to access the section. You should have mentioned it was for members only. What I especially loved is that you mentioned the things like Rates and especially Yearly Best Ofs. It’s some of the most popular things to be a part of on ATRL. You also used the four main big artists whose stans populate ATRL. One thing I wish you guys would have done, hyperlinked the register link with the ‘join ATRL today’ banner.

-The first minute sounded like an informercial. It made me laugh for the wrong reasons.
-There was almost a full minute of silence while the testimonials were playing. You needed some sort of background music to
-When you say "register soon as possible and we hope to see you soon" you should have had a video of you clicking on the main atrl tab and showing the people you were reaching out to how to register. A final link or a persistent link throughout the video to atrl.net would have been useful.

Windows Movie Maker is bottom of the barrel and the most up to date version can produce HQ video suitable for 720p/1080p on YouTube. The quality is not acceptable. "Welcoming... user-friendly... etc", what's up with the different fonts and colors that have nothing to do with ATRL? Great idea with this testimonial section! Points for getting ImARudeBoy to shoutout Teen Wolf to all the potential ATRL members. I really like this segment with you actively using ATRL, and I wish you would have done more with it. Also, all other tabs should be cleared and all toolbars deactivated—they provide a distraction, and all focus should be on the website. Also, a bit of your background is showing—you should've been on full screen. Points for the Ariana Grande shoutout. Oh, and lastly, I enjoyed the narration!

I'd like to see something else to back it up in case people aren't able to watch a video.

(2) The user testimonies would have benefited from a voiceover [even if it were still by you], and the video kind of left me feeling bored of ATRL rather than excited about it. (3) I think you could have done A LOT more. The submissions to Matty on who did what kind of left me feeling like it was rushed, and there were other contestants who blew this challenge out of the water. At the end of it all, I don't think you did your best.

Making a solo video advertisement is smart way to advertise, but unfortunately this one did not work at all. The concept was there, it just wasn’t executed correctly. Having a voice on top of the video with no soft background music can lose the viewers’ attention. The only things I liked were some of the comments/writings about atrl and the testimonials. However, I would have loved to see testimonials from members before 2010.

-Even though I hate the song, I think it was a smart choice. The message is obvious and it is also a recent release showing how up to date your advertisement is.
-I liked the interjections of text telling us what ATRL has to offer.
-Biased comment: "Stay up to date with all the #1s and flops" followed by a certain scene.
Cons:
-The judges obviously knew what you guys were doing; the blurb after the banner was unnecessary. You should have jumped right into the advertisement that caters towards perspective members, not us.
-I enjoyed the clips of the artists but a little more variety wouldn't have hurt. I know Kelly is your fav, but you didn't need to show her, Shakira nor Britney, twice.
-I wished you showed us a bit of the actual site. Right after the text interjections you had, a little clip of the site could have been useful for the audience who obviously aren't familiar with the site.
-The gifs at the end were so extra. What purpose did they serve? They were tacky and unnecessary. You could have at least made each gif link to atrl.net but no. It was just...there.

Let's start with the banner. Excellent in idea, but poor in execution. I don't recognize half those avatars, the bottom row is missing an avatar, the ATRL isn't of good quality, and the Addicted + AdamAL4 takes up too much space for no positive reason. The video was cute. Kinda basic, but not bad. I like that it was concise. The only thing is that it should've been 720p. This is 2013, people. We demand quality. The gif thing was a nice idea, not sure about the excecution, but yeah. I'd say more but your entry is slowing down my computer and I don't have the time so yea

First things first, the ATRL banner with all the avatars surrounding it… GENIUS! I loved it despite it slowing down the page of the entries. The video was pretty good. At first listen and read I was like, way to suck up to the host by using Selena as the song. However, second listen, the song totally made since. The lyrics fit with the addiction and love of ATRL. The gifs were cute and all, but I almost found them unnecessary. Maybe they would have been better with a join now on them and a link to the register page. My one big gripe about the entire thing… it was more of entry instead of an advertisement. The Adam + Addicted thing was unnecessary. You had the structure there to make an advertisement, but it turned into a regular entry.

-The ticket was a cute idea...not really understanding the "Rih" and "ARTPOP" reference but cute nonetheless.
-The video was informative, humorous ( ![Katie](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/e7c8e635.gif) cuz it catered more towards the gays than straights) and useful. Dying how futurelove acted so convincingly as a f aggot.
Cons:
-The banner itself was too busy and too much. It would have been nice if you faded the colors of the images so the text could have stuck out more. Right now, it is kind of hard to read, especially the text in the red.
-The trailer was epic (only cuz of the soundtrack) but certain scenes just didn't really mesh well with the chosen soundtrack. It was very amateur looking and to be honest, I didn't really see the point in the trailer. I would have made the final ATRL symbol clickable and redirect to the actual site.
-The video was SO long; it wasn't the most effective method of selling ATRL. While it was informative, there was so much information at the beginning that I could have done without. For example, it was nice that you tried to incorporate ATRL's history but it seemed to fall a bit superfluous to the challenge a hand. Be sure to be concise with your message and not have too much frills.

So, the banner. I appreciate the effort it takes to cut all those faces out. However, it comes off as amateur and unprofessional. I like the idea of the acrostic. The fonts are boring. Not a fan of this overal design. I like the idea of the admissions ticket. It was saved terrbily though, and thus the quality was degraded. The trailer was cute, although if I didn't know what ATRL was, I wouldn't figure it out by the trailer. Also, all of those clips exist in HQ. The video should have been in HQ too. This trailer wasn't under a collapse tag like the other elements, which throws off the composition of your entry. Oh my GOD this video nnnn;;;nknkl; ![lmao](http://atrl.net/forums/images/smilies/images/smilies/lmao.gif) I can't critique this video ![lmao](http://atrl.net/forums/images/smilies/images/smilies/lmao.gif) I'm done ![lmao](http://atrl.net/forums/images/smilies/images/smilies/lmao.gif) Good job.

It kind of gets thrown off by the banner and concert ticket. It would have been better if you made like a simple movie poster and a movie ticket. The trailer was good, but I honestly got a little disgusted seeing Rihanna’s beat down photo in the video. It was fine and fun until that came up, then I was done. The Movie was, just too much. I couldn’t stop laughing. Nice concept though. I’ll give you guys creativity for the videos.

-Yes. The first group to actually link us to the actual atrl.net URL. You not only did it once in the fourth mouseover pop up but also in the header. This was in addition to all the other links to specific threads you used as examples.
Cons:
-[biasedrant]Where the fuck is Rihanna? You had time to put Nicki and even Katy but not the highest selling female digital artist of all time?[/biasedrant]
-The aesthetics of the pamphlet is very neat but I could have stood to see something in the background instead of the see of gray.
-That gray font on the white background of each was pretty much the worst thing ever. My eyes were straining to read each section
-While the brochure was informative, I felt like I was reading so much text. I think the majority of it had to do with the difficulty of seeing the text but each blurb needed to be boiled down even further, almost to a tagline instead of a mini paragraph.

This website though! Slayed. I am slayed. I have basically nothing negative to say. The fonts were perfect. The colors were perfect. The design. The content. The writeups. Even the little details like the icon, the title, the little links, and the domain name. This is what I call a flawless entry. And completely original too. Top of the pack by far. Congratulations!

While everything was outstanding, it just seemed like too much. An advertising site to advertise an already site/forum, it seems a bit redundant. The aesthetics to the site could have been better. It was a little hard to read. The concept of everything was well done though. Kitt you didn’t really pay for the site did you? Where did you get the domain at? I’ve been thinking about making a site for my photography business, but hate all the free sites.
