I'm going to tweet this at Foxay, but this is directed at any ATRL mod or admin who may be reading.
Last summer, I made an account "Poison" that was banned after only 200 or so posts for trolling. A few months later, I decided to try to sign up again and was surprised when I was accepted. When I first signed up, I honestly could care less if my account was discovered, since I hadn't been yet sucked into the world of ATRL. But after being a member for almost five months, ATRL has become more than just a website for me. It's become an experience.
And today, after many months of trying to hide the secret, one of the mods found out about my old account and I was issued a permaban. I would like to be unbanned, and I have several reasons that I would like to ask this:
(1) While I was under the Poison account, I accumulated the 20 points that led to that permaban while I was offline. I didn't even know I was doing anything wrong.
(2) When I rejoined as Cherry, I totally changed my ways, especially after the month ban on that account. Many members would agree that I have become a significantly better member since I first joined in September as Cherry.
(3) I don't think I should be punished for a brief stint over the summer that doesn't reflect what I'm like as a member now. I've significantly grown and matured as a person since the incidents that led to the Poison ban.
Please, to any mods who may be reading - I am BEGGING for an unban. I love ATRL and I would do anything to have it back. I will carry around a hefty chunk of never-expiring warning points for a duplicate account if I have to. I will accept a ban for the next month if I can return. But please, PLEASE, let me return to ATRL. I've made so many amazing friends here and this is a great website that I'd love to use for months and maybe even years to come.
If I could be unbanned, it would really mean so much to me. But if the final choice is not to, I respect the decision. I would really like for the moderating team as a whole to discuss this, because I don't think anyone can deny the improvements I made while I was Poison to my recent posts under the Cherry account.
