College age straight guys love rap music the most out of anything. Kendrick, Chance The Rapper, J Cole, Eminem, Kanye, etc.
Second favorite genre would be rock music, in the vein of Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Third is country.
And they won't claim to like pop unless it's super popular or by a male artist (ie Happy). Example of a female pop song they would probably like is Dark Horse.
