That's besides the point! If y'all hadn't invaded them to begin with there'd be no funding to expand. I don't see how it's relevant because things were already set into motion by then.
that's not true. The reality was that the terrorists were in Afghanistan not Iraq. sis brush up on your international history before attempting to shade.
Good job of taking what I said and trying to turn everything into a negative. I don't see why people have this negative stigma towards moderate approaches. Change in our country happens in moderation. That's historical fact. So, being aware of that and proposing something that is likely to pass within the confides of our government (you know, where the president can't just pass anything he or she wants), I find that highly attractive in a candidate.
Secondly, she acknowledges how to work with the Congress. Bernie wants us to reelect an entirely new Congress to work with his ideas because he can't compromise. That's an awful trait in a president.
I never said that, but it's a good point.
Hillary is aiming for 100% coverage, by building on top of it, rather than start an entirely new piece of legislation... Her approach is a lot more doable.
I wasn't making it negative. It's true that she wants to change things moderately. I wouldn't say moderate change is always a good thing but I guess it depends on the issue.
Can you find the link where Bernie said that? Bernie knows how to compromise so I don't know everyone keeps trying to say he doesn't.
I don't think 100% coverage will ever happen with the ACA but we can agree to disagree. Healthcare shouldn't just be affordable; it should be free.
The Pope knows Bernie cares about people around the world, hence the personal invitation.
That's good enough for me
It wasn't a personal invitation from the Pope Don't bother disputing this because all it will result in is me giving you receipts which I don't feel like looking for.

I'm very interested in what Bernie is going to discuss at the Vatican.
The only thing I worry about for Bernie about this, is that I know a lot of democrats who strictly believe there should be no influence of religion on politics and vice versa, yet this is getting him the most prolific religious figure on his side might be a turn off for some. It'll most likely do wonders for republicans though.

The Vatican invited him.
Not Hillary or any of the candidates. Bernie was the chosen one.

Then why did he support the bombing of Serbia in 1999? I thought he was anti-war? #whichbernie

Bernie isn't religious (only culturally Jewish). No rational American think's hell magically turn Catholic after delivering a speech at the Vatican.

Met =/= personal invitation from the Pope to deliver a speech.

Seems like a non-issue to me since Hillary herself is religious. If they can support a religious candidate, I don't see why they couldn't support a non-religious candidate who just so happens to be getting support from the Pope.
Queen Rania of Jordan: "In the US, when Mrs. Clinton's name is brought up it's usually in the context of politics. But for the rest of the world [to Hillary], I don't even think YOU recognize the impact that you've had on women and children all over the world. Not only through the work that you've done, but also in the symbolism of what you've achieved in your life. Both personally and professionally."
How could anyone watch this and support Bernie over her? LOL
Oh cool, so basically we should vote for her just because she's a respected (very well, albeit) woman. Guess I need to ignore my opinions on what the country needs!
This country does need a woman president, but we shouldn't elect a woman president for the sake of electing a woman president. Could you imagine Sarah Palin as vice president, let alone president?
