But there is logic behind what he said. The fact of the matter is, almost all the votes received so far have been from members that NEVER participate in the games section. Almost none of the people that have voted for Since U Been Gone are recognizible in other parts of the game section except for you and Razzle.
And all of those members have a Kelly Clarkson avatar and have barely posted stuff in the site. So you have to see why Mr. Link would assume manipulation, which I think is happening here.

Why should it matter? Isn't that the point of a game-- to, you know, WIN? It's not like I made 5 other accounts myself and used them to manipulate. Instead I branched out to other members here that are fans like me and asked them to participate. It's not cheating, and if you think it is, then you seriously should reconsider the objective of these so-called games. It shouldn't only be the same members voting again. What's the fun of that when the same artists are going to repeatedly win? Having it open to more members, through whichever means necessary, balances the scale and allows a truly more accurate representation of what's popular in ATRL. The creator of this thread, Mr. Link, is clearly making up "rules as he goes" so his favorite will win. Now that is cheating.
If that's what you guys are into, fine. I honestly thought this forum, or at least this section, was a little classier and not into the immature behavior that entails accusing everybody that votes against their favorites as "OMG CHEATERS! GET A LIFE! ". Guess I was wrong.

And I believe that there is rule saying that the game host is allowed to make some rules as long as they aren't against the Games section rule.

I believe that people in this section don't want their votes to be manipulated by other people asking others to vote in this survivor. Mr. Link doesn't ask for people to vote in his survivors. And for the record, since u Been gone is a predictable winner, Nobody's Home isn't as predictable.

I understand that, but it's still kinda ridiculous for a host to make "rules" that only favor themselves. As I said, do as you please, but, honestly, this is a sh*tty, nonsensical game if that's the way it's played. Carry on though.

I don't like cheating as much as the next person but...how is introducing me and others to a game cheating?
Anyway, I am always honest so please count my vote which is for Since U Been Gone! Both songs and artists are great though and if it was against say Happy Ending...Avril would have got my vote!

We, the regular members in games section, know about the informal rules about who are the players that keep playing in this games section. Actually if you calling up all the stans for one artist is kinda unfair. Why?
because the game is going smoothly at first with members that votes from first to the last, then when the final some random members come here, just saving his or her favorite then gone, it makes the essential for the game is dropping really low. I'm not saying it is cheating, but it's unfair for the host, and other regular voters.. So please, leave the game be normal just usual.
if you want your vote to be include and people not assume you as random voter, so you should vote it from the first time the game begin. It will be more fair IMO
btw, if you don;t know, Mr.Link is also stan for Kelly Clarkson, if he is not, then why that kelly's song in the list of his countdown? the same situation will be the same if there is an avril stans calling for random avril fans to vote here..
For the rules, yeah, we all the game voters for this game are knowing this situation. You know what, Mr.Link is one of the biggest fan of Taylor Swift here, but when Taylor in the finale and some stan of taylor come to the game randomly, he also annul their votes. So it doesn't related with that Mr.Link don't want your fav to win..
And for the last, don't you dare to say to the host of the game that the game suck. You can critic or give suggestion, but not JUDGE! it's really unappropriate to say that. Please respect the host. If you don;t like the host or game, just leave, it's simple..

Thank you so much Adrian you actually stated a very important point right there.
It's all about consistency, none of those people were here before, they were called specifically to manipulate the result of a game that's been going on for a while.

More than having the power of changing the rules, it is - as Mr.Link mentioned - all about consistency. As a brief example, Imagine you host a survivor of choosing the favorite song of your fav singer, and all their fans vote every round. Suddenly, a group of unknown people vote in the last round. Whatever the final result may be, how would you feel about it?
Usually, the following concept is applied on every game: If you haven't voted for your favorite song/item on previous rounds, then what right do you have of saving it on the finale? It is actually an 'implied' concept that helps games be right and fair. But please, bear in mind that right now it is not something that has to be done. It is taken as something that should be done instead; therefore, it depends on the host criteria.
