Following Shakira and Usher's debut on NBC's "The Voice," the two pop stars are sent flying on Billboard's Social 50 chart this week.
The pair debuted last week on the talent show, alongside continuing coaches Blake Shelton and Maroon 5's Adam Levine. In turn, both Usher and Shakira jump straight into the top 10 on the Social 50. They rise 19-8 and 14-7, respectively.
The Social 50 chart ranks the most popular artists on YouTube, Vevo, Facebook, Twitter, SoundCloud, Wikipedia, Myspace and Instagram. The chart's methodology blends weekly additions of friends/fans/followers along with artist page views, song plays and reactions.
Usher's rise is driven in part by over 164,000 views to his Wikipedia page (a 341% increase over the previous week). Also factoring into his gain was views to his VEVO channel, which received over 4.8 million views for the week.
Shakira, who topped the Social 50 in February upon the birth of her child, gained 424,000 new fans last week across networks like Facebook and Twitter. On Instagram, where she is particularly popular, she added 23,000 new fans (up). 89%

I really hope he doesn't cancel the Euphoria tour, I didn't get the chance to go to his OMG tour, and I would love to see him live.
