Since it's sorta become a right of passage in the base to do this I think I'll do it as well.

1st Single: Roar ~ til October
2nd Single: Dark Horse ~ Oct-April (released as a promo single alongside WOA in late Sept)
3rd Single: WOA ~ VERY late April-July(ish) (thus it spends a few weeks on the chart, and then spends another run on the charts)
4th Single: Legendary Lovers ~ August to November
5th Single: It Takes Two ~ November to February
Superbowl
6th Single: By The Grace of God performed at Grammys

Boom! at least 3#1s, 5 top 10s, and a Grammy (I think)

the name was basically about how the radio stations had seemed to boycott TIHWD and, although I believe it shouldn't have been released, since it was released, they shouldn't try and dictate what songs an artist should release and punish them for it.

tl;dr: I have always thot that TIHWD brings down Prism but it should've seen more success

ILY too. CYB is better than BTGOG and would've probs done better on the charts than it but I think the latter would have raised Katy's respect in the industry moreso than CYB but both are great options!

Yes. The radio boycotting was so tragic. With radio support, the song would have gone at least Top 20, probably Top 10.

The main issue with the PRISM era is that the singles were all pre-determined before the album release. Uncle was always second, Birthday was third, LL was gonna be a later single etc. She/her team didn't listen to the overwhelming response to DH soon enough. They should have pulled a Gaga with Venus/DWUW and made Uncle a promo single and DH the real second single. Instead they stuck with the pre-determined plan, slotted in DH just to be safe, and went back to the plan even though it was clear Birthday wasn't the sound people wanted from Katy anymore. Legendary Lovers should have come after Dark Horse because it would have been a better transition single to something more pop, like TIHWD.
