I hope single #2 will be countrier. I mean sice Fearless ended, all I dreamed of is Taylor giving us countrier songs. But since then, she gave us more pop songs. Not that I don't like this single. I just miss the countriness.
Really hope she gets a number one and builds album hype. I just can't get into it though - it just doesn't have the structure, melody, lyrical details or wordiness of a typical Taylor song. It's playing into the hands of her critics - juvenile, petty, sing-song, simplistic lyrics etc. I love the album cover and am still optimistic that the album as a whole will be nothing like this.
Also depressing that the Hyannisport house purchase is as big a news story as the album announcement on google news And with headlines like this: Taylor Swift is stalking the Kennedys
Really, this song won't get any nomination on Grammy, even EO can do better
I see they can do better on country mix. It should sound like Should've Said No on chorus with violin, because it also has any hip-hop beat, and a little bit like PTB+BTR on verse
But now, her pop standard on speak now is the country on Red
Guys, do you think her label made a mistake by submitting Back to December for the Grammy? I mean, Mean won two country awards and I'm almost sure it would've been nominated for the Song or Record of the year, or maybe for both

She forgets Mean, her only real country single from Speak Now, gave her 2 Grammys, almost reaches 2xp, and still in top 250
While TSOU... Has it reached gold?
"I must own that #1 on Pop! I don't care if I'm losing my country fans, because my obsession is becoming the real pop superstar*
