This song should be reaching its peak in February/March. It's absolutely ridiculous to suggest anything otherwise. How can you possibly expect this to be so consistently high on iTunes with humungous album sales, no official video, and no big radio play as of yet? It doesn't make any sense. Also, if the public wasn't here for it like some of you suggested, then why has it done so well on iTunes after all of her performances of the song. How did it remain in the top 20 on iTunes for weeks after the album release? I mean, all of your dramatics are a little annoying now.

This. Read it and regurgatate this yall. It's nothing but truth syrup for yall to swallow!

Just emailed Lee Leipsner (head of Columbia, Top 40 promo, Pop). They're choosing the second single in the U.S. when they're back from vacation in early January. Adele was dead set on this, but he said MDs expressed similar concerns, and they're in the middle of testing "When We Were Young," "Water Under The Bridge," "Send My Love," "Remedy," and "All I Ask." He's frustrated because the plan was to market "Send My Love" as "Song of The Summer," and that's the one getting the most love. I told him "Remedy" would be a much stronger fourth single with a strong male harmony. He liked that idea, but who knows if Adele will as she doesn't seem big on duets.
So anyway, I gave him my input:
2. Water Under The Bridge
3. Send My Love (To Your New Lover)
4. Remedy duet
I told him "All I Ask" is too divisive.

Just realized that Max recycled the "hey!"s chants (not the Juicy ones) on the chorus to "Send My Love" from "Dark Horse." LOL. Serban mixed them pretty low, probably per request by Adele.

You're just trolling at this point. What's your duplicate account? I'm guessing you're Sheena, could be wrong though.

Yeah, definitely not. I don't have time for that crap. I registered in like 2010 because I thought this place was funny for a week, and then law school started. I worked at Universal while studying for the CA bar exam and made a lot of connections in the industry, mostly at Capitol Records. My first post was in the Katy Perry base in early 2014, letting them know "Birthday" was going to be a single, when she would announce it, what the original plans were for the singles, etc., since she was their priority artist at the time.
I rarely post now because I'm busy getting an LL.M. in NY in Intellectual Property. I realized I wanted to specialize in Entertainment Law rather than Estate Planning, which is what I had been doing in Kansas City for most of 2013. Protecting the creative works of artists and fueling the engines of innovation is far more exciting than planning for the disposition of someone's assets after death and dealing with their gift taxes and children's trusts while alive, but being a non-practicing Jew back in Kansas City with my family and friends in town has afforded me some free time during the day this week, so naturally, I'm posting more.
Anyway, since this is already off-topic, here's a stream of Serban and John's 'loud' mix before it mastered, where you can hear the 'heys' more clearly:

I believe you
Come thru goldsoundz
I agree with you that Remedy would be a perfect choice, but not a duet though it is perfect how it is.
OT: I'm okay with WWWY as being the second single

Don't care.
Here are they 'heys' in question -- obviously it's just a sample that he time-warps and adjusts the reverb on. I added some context in the event that there are producers who see this and want to steal it.
