I swear if this song is what gets her to finally upload to Spotify
That just shows how inaccurate billboard is. I've learned to stop following peak positions and start looking at longevity. There's many songs from past decades that didn't even make top 40 but are seen as classics today like The Weight, Rock Lobster, Tiny Dancer, Silly, What I Like About You, etc..

You must be 12, maybe you need to do your research.. Wikipedia isn't far away and yes these are all classics.
I agree with your opinion. More accessible examples are River Deep Mountain High peaked 88 at Billboard and Joni Mitchell has only one top 10 in her career. But low charting doesn't affect the fact that Diver Deep Mountain HIgh or A Case of You are classics.
Since you're probably too lazy, I'll help you out.
Rock Lobster
"Rock Lobster" was the band's first single to appear on the Billboard Hot 100, where it reached No. 56. A major hit in Canada, the single went all the way to No. 1 in the RPM national singles chart. Its follow-up was "Private Idaho," in October 1980, which reached No. 74 in the US. It was well received by critics and was placed at No. 147 on Rolling Stone's list of the "500 Greatest Songs of All Time".
In spring 1980, John Lennon, whose post-Beatles music career had been on hiatus for nearly 5 years while he helped raise his son Sean, was prompted to record again after hearing "Rock Lobster"; according to Lennon, "it sounds just like Ono's music, so I said to meself [sic], 'It's time to get out the old axe and wake the wife up!'" His return to the studio led to the release of Double Fantasy. At a 2002 B-52's concert in New York, Yoko Ono joined them onstage for the performance of this song.
Silly
"Silly" is a song written by Fritz Baskett, Clarence McDonald and Deniece Williams and performed by Williams. The soulful ballad was released off Williams' My Melody album in 1981 and became the most successful track off the album reaching as high as number fifty-three on the Billboard Hot 100 becoming an even bigger success on the R&B chart where it peaked at number-eleven. It has since gone on to become one of Williams' most requested songs over a career that has spanned over thirty years.
One of Williams' influences, Patti LaBelle, later recorded the song for her 2005 album, Classic Moments. Singer Monica later sampled the instrumental intro and bridge of the song for her number-one R&B hit, "Everything to Me" and also interpolated Williams' ending high notes at the end of the song. Monica and Williams sang "Everything to Me" and "Silly" respectively together at the BET Awards in 2010. The-Dream also sampled the song for his song "Silly", which featured Casha, on his free mixtape 1977.
The Weight
The Weight" has significantly influenced American popular music, having been listed as #41 on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time published in 2004. Pitchfork Media named it the 13th best song of the Sixties, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame named it one of the 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll.PBS, which broadcast performances of the song in "Ramble at the Ryman" (2011), "Austin City Limits" (2012), and "Quick Hits" (2012), describes it as "a masterpiece of Biblical allusions, enigmatic lines and iconic characters" and notes its enduring popularity as "an essential part of the American songbook."
"The Weight" is one of The Band's best known songs though it was not a significant mainstream hit for the group in the U.S., peaking at only #63.

Yup, and more can be found on Tvtropes.org
We have songs that weren't allowed to chart like Stairway to Heaven, Here Comes The Sun, Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, I Shot The Sheriff, etc...
I don't like old music, because it just sounds old when you listen to it, but classics are songs basically everyone knows. Not sure about those, but whatever.

See those are classics
Did you even read what I posted?
EDIT: I'm not saying anything else. (for bold)
EDIT AGAIN: And everyone knows those songs, you just said you don't listen to old music so how would you know
Of course I read it. Wow some critics think they belong to the best songs of all time. Great. I just defended myself against you saying I'm "lazy", because I don't like to be called lazy and I don't think that was necessary.
I know you are not saying anything else? Wtf? I just said those are real classics not the other stuff you listed that nobody knows.

What kind of non sense logic is that. My godness.
If they were classics I would know them and not because of me actively going and listening to them.

Everyone knows those songs though
You said you don't listen to old music so you're opinion is irrelevant. Go ahead and enjoy your new music which won't exist if not for those songs and more.
