Yes, 4FS under performed for Rihanna's standards but let's not forget the amazing tracks Kanye has with Rihanna like All Of The Lights or Run This Town.
Rihanna is her own artist. If she doesn't want to wait on Kanye then she doesn't. She's not being controlled by her team and she wants this album to obviously go by HER way. But she's waiting. So deal!
Rihanna obviously isn't Kanye's number one priority. He's with fashion lines, running fashion shows, has a wife and a child on the way AND his own album to produce like...

I will say, at this point, the guessing game and mystery saga has erased and basically completely reset all the expectations for what this album will be or sound like.

Most of Kanye's recent music has been an incoherent, screaming, rambling mess! The delays are only building pressure on her to deliver a 100% perfect album...she is second guessing herself, and 10 years into a career an artist shouldn't be doing that. Rihanna should know by now who she is, and what her fans want...and trust me, it's not some overtly deconceptualized album produced by Kanye West!
