Because there is one thing about a re-release that could hurt her. If she has so many new songs on her album (i can't remember what it is), it doesn't count to her previous album sales, the sales count as their own album. I might be wrong though, it depends on how many songs she adds to it.

Yes I've definitely heard that as well. I think it may be 5 new songs. I'm hoping that she just ends up releasing it as a new album. The title "Dignity 2" sounds like a continuation, rather than a re-release. I think it should be something like this:
1. Reach Out
2. Holiday
3. A Day Away
4. Love Is A Battlefield
5. Smile
6. Surprise Remake
7. "Dignity" leftover
8. "Dignity" leftover
9. "Dignity" leftover
10. New Song
11. New Song
12. New Song
13. New Song
14. New Song
"Reach Out" & "Holiday" were the prime choices for the single, & they decided on "Reach Out," but "Holiday" is supposed to be on the album as well.
She sings 20 seconds of "A Day Away" (a cover by Major Tom) during "Never Stop" on the tour. All the fans like it so that should be included.
"Love Is A Battlefield" is also sung on tour.
"Smile" was originally recorded for her movie "Material Girls" & was supposed to originally be on "Dignity," but it didn't fit in with the rest of the record.
Joe Bermudez, a remixer who does alot of Hilary songs, said that she recorded a surprise remake that was supposed to be on the rerelease. He also said it's NOT Love Is A Battlefield.
Hilary recorded over 20 tracks for "Dignity," so I think that 3 of those leftovers, could be edited to perfection, or however they want for the album.
& I think she should record 5 new tracks. That could take AT THE MOST 2 weeks. So I think she could take the time to do that.
Then she could release the album as a brand new album & do MAJOR promo.
Anyway, that's my 2 cents on it. haha, knowing Hollywood Records, they'll just screw her over somehow.
