Top Ten
10.Shakira - Hips Don't Lie (19th Day/-3/Peak:01[1])
See-yA, would be cool to see another single pop out from Vol. 2. The video isn't that great from my viewpoint, but it has the flare.
09.Missy Elliott - We Run This (2nd Day/+1/Peak:09)
I like Missy Elliot, she is my favorite female rapper of this generation. This video exhibits the creativity and wackiness she can bring, as she has with past videos such as Work It. This one is entertaining, I don't think its her best work, but I'm glad to see it's made the countdown. And the Cookbook was a good CD.
08.Mariah Carey - Say Somethin' (1st Day/Debut/Peak:08)
She could've done a better video, and a better single. I could care less what happens to this one, I'd like to see SS take a few days on the c/d and drop off for better videos.
07.Ne-Yo - So Sick (45th Day/+1/Peak:01[1])
I've tried to let this one grow on me, but it really hasn't. Intresting video that works well with the "OK" song, but it'd be fine to see this one retire. I await to hear his next single.
06.Ashley Parker Angel - Let U Go (17th Day/-1/Peak:01[6])
I'm not as critical about Ashley as everybody has. Let U go isn't that bad of a song imo, but the video for this one was just "OK." I think he is c/d worthy, but I really didn't forsee his #1 streak, nor did I really enjoy it. `~'
05.Fall Out Boy - A Little Less 16 Candles (18th Day/-1/Peak:03)
A usual quirky pop-rock music video gone bad. They had a great concept, i agree that it was entertaining, but this band could've done better.
04.T.I. - What You Know (6th Day/+2/Peak:04)
This one is starting to grow on me everyday, I don't like the video, because I find it to be boring halfway through it, but the track is hit-worthy. I'll be checking out ATL when it lands at Blockbuster.
03.Sean Paul - Temperature (21st Day/=/Peak:01[1])
I used to hate Sean, just because of his voice, until I learned that he was Jamaican, then I saw where he was coming from. As far as the video is concerned, its an all out Generic-Seseme Street like piece of visually entertaining key-rap(video-wise), but the song has been hot with me. I think this might be my favorite Sean Paul track.
02.Kelly Clarkson - Walk Away (21st Day/-1/Peak:01[10])
Kelly is my first lady of music, she rules out loud. Breakaway is permanently staying in stay in my CD collection with other 04/05' hits such as Green Day's American Idiot, Destiny's Child's #1s, All American Rejects' Move Along, and several other great CDs. I like this video, but she's done way better. - (Her best videos imo have been SUBG, BTHE, and BOY)
01.Rihanna - S.O.S. (11th Day/+1/Peak:01[1])
I admit, I wasn't feeling it at first, but this is the best track I've yet to hear from this girl, next to Pon De Replay. I hate what she and the director has done for this version of the video, but it passes with me. I still say she could've had better success if she released her Nike promo version instead.
Falloffs:
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Dani California @ #09
They could've been higher by now if they at least first-looked 2-3 min of the video. But at least the band is back. . . The video is good, I like how they represented the different generations of rock music cultures, and the song isn't too shabby either.
Pre-RL:
Saving Jane - Girl Next Door
I see her having better success on VH1...
Lupe Fiasco - Kick Push
Haven't seen the video, but have heard the song. It sounds like it already has been done before, but I can't put my finger on where. On the positive side, I like it.
TRL First Look:
Taking Back Sunday - Makedamnsure
I get to see this one sometime this weekend.

MTV's music video player and my computer don't get along with each other anymore, so I go to Yahoo instead.

*Sigh* One of the reasons I miss my TRL.
