Im not saying I disagree or agree, I prefer electronic to acoustic but I think she is underrating acoustic music in some ways, it's not that easy either!
She's not underrating anything! Read the quote again and actually use your brain! She's just resisting people who OVER-rate acoustic music. She didn't say electronic music IS better, she said acoustic ISN'T better. This is a "neither is better than the other" situation, not an "electronic music is better."
Ironic since I didn't even bring Ke$ha into this. I'm well aware the public respects Ke$ha as little as they do Nicki, Rihanna.
It's cute how the only way you can attempt to disprove my opinion is by bringing Ke$ha into it.
Learn the meaning of the word 'ironic.'
I think Ke$ha is a very appropriate act to bring up when a Ke$ha stan talks about public perception/respect of popstars in a condescending manner like you just did.
The irony in her making this statement is that the public and nearly every music critic would agree that Adele is a far superior artist and she is rightfully regarded as such.
I feel like Gaga is making this statement out of utter bitterness due to the fact that the public loves Adele's "low brow" music and regards it as true talent, whereas if she were to get up and make an acoustic album, the public wouldn't care because she isn't in a meat dress.
What?? That's not true at ALL. Born This Way has a 71, which would be higher if it weren't for the troll of a 0 from TinyMixTapes. 21 has a 76.
Meanwhile, The Fame has a 71 and TFM a 78; 19 only got a 68.
So to say that Adele is showered with critical praise compared to Gaga is simply false. That "far superior artist" sings very well and co-writes songs well, but she doesn't write every song, and she doesn't play instruments. Gaga does.
That's what ALL except one (You and I) of her biggest hits fall under.
She's a bit of a one-trick pony tbh, but she only does almost 100% electropop songs because that's the "in" thing in the charts right now. In a few years when alternative is dominating she'll do alternative-styled songs, mark my words.
What ? A one trick pony? I don't see other artists constantly crossing genres for that matter . Calling her a one trick pony because she is dedicated to a genre is ignorant .

But you're the only one who has implied that Adele's music is "low brow."
Adele is acclaimed for a pop girl but y'all seriously need to stop acting like she's the end all be all of critically acclaimed music because she's not even THAT acclaimed,
The way y'all talk you'd think she's Radiohead or Joanna Newsom or something.

You also need time to make an acoustic album. The time to learn the instruments effectively, and the time to know how to evoke spirit in the sound of it.
Electronic music is technical but its also icy. I haven't heard a warm electronic song, but with acoustic you have no choice but too. However, I do agree that no music form is better than the other, they serve difference purposes.

Also called the greatest pop song of all time.
Very few acoustic songs, if any songs, get to the level of this.

I know Depeche Mode, but you basically proved my point. The electronic music had its break through in the 80s, but they were adamant in being cold and distant. This song continued the trend, besides a few songs on the album this one is cold too. Its not a warm song. Do you know what I mean by warm?
And I have no clue why you should be the video. Its not called the greatest pop song, often that title goes to a classic song from the 60s-70s.
