My local radio has a weekly blog post regarding new songs they add each week and they entusiastically mentioned the "new gaga single"... Ironic considering that particular station, and three other clear channel stations in the same region have never played judas, even after they supposedly added it.
Interscope is seriously starting to piss me off. They've been overly ambitious in promotion yet they've stirred up some **** in what is the biggest promoter of all, radio. At this rate she'll be virtually absent from radio by the time the album drops.

Then I honestly dont know whats going on with radio stations, maybe the not so major citys arent playing it. But I just find it odd that its updates are so horrid yet there obviously alot of interest in just the audio on youtube.

exactly.... add in the rave reviews from all directions and the fact that radio spun BTW like there was not tomorrow and it's very clear that something is going on. I wish most GaGa stans weren't so blind to this.

If anything, it would make sense if the largest stations play it some to keep up the appearnace of there being no problem... However, the lack of support from their semi-large stations and down would be the biggest killer.
Regional or not, i can honeslty say none of the large stations in the bay area (all clear channel owned) are playing judas, and have never played it. That's millions of people who are unuaware of it's existence. When you consider BTW stopped receiving airplay very abruptly over a month ago, it becomes clear how horrible this can turn out.

The boycott accusations are ridiculous. We'd hear something about it if it were true, just like we did with Madonna, Britney, Dixie Chicks, etc. And you can be certain GaGa would've said something by now.
The song is performing the way it's performing on iTunes, mediocre. If radio doesn't want to play it, they don't want to play it. The song is equally performing subpar worldwide too. Is every country boycotting to?

Yeah the radio doesn't want to play it but it's not because the song is not catchy enough or bad, it's probably because of the religious theme. I think that's what ppl meant my boycott, but of course there's no real ban

No, they are also saying the religious theme isn't the reason why it isn't being played on radio. It has something to do with GaGa not fulfilling her agreement or whatever.

I can understand the religious part, but from the recent posts I got that some were suggesting a Clear Channel ban, mentioning Britney/Bruce.

I'm coming from having to play the radio constantly because
I always drive about an hour to work & back and around the
